I am Monty Edwards. My roots run deep in Bullitt County. My Celtic (Scottish and Irish) ancestors came to Bullitt County in the 1790's and my great-grandfather was the overseer (superintendent) of Bullitt County Schools in the early 1900's. I attended Bullitt County Schools from first grade to graduation. I have 25 years of teaching and education consulting experience. My previous positions were at North Hardin High School, Bullitt Central High School, Bullitt Lick Middle School and I was a Social Studies Educational Consultant for the Kentucky Department of Education. I am presently in my 15th year at Bullitt East. For the 2020-2021 school year I will be teaching Integrated Social Studies and Introduction to World Religions. I hold a Masters of Teaching degree and Rank 1 from the University of Louisville. I am married to Julie and I have 5 children. I served this country as a U. S. Navy Hospital Corpsman , I am very patriotic, I love this country and I love history. It is our story of who we are.
